Look for Beauty First

Look for Beauty First

It was right in front of me.

In my own yard, something had been growing without me really noticing it. I had walked past it more times than I could count. Then one day, I stopped for a second and actually looked.

A flower.

Nothing dramatic. Nothing rare. Just something simple that had been there the whole time.

And somehow, I had missed it.

It made me think about how often that happens. How easy it is to move through the day without really seeing what is around you. We get used to things. We rush past them. We assume they will always be there.

Most of the time, we are not even aware we are doing it.

That moment stuck with me.

It is what “pause, breathe, bloom” really means. Not some perfect, quiet setting. Just catching something small in the middle of a normal day and letting it slow you down for a second.

That flower became the inspiration behind this drop.

Not because it was extraordinary, but because I almost missed it.

If there is anything to take from it, it is this:

Look for beauty first.

It is usually already there.
